So to answer the question it rubs without disconnecting... You could probably stop the rears from rubbing with some bumpstops. Next time you go wheeling disconnect the fronts, it is absolutely worth it and really shows off how much the jeep can flex.

I too have a tire question. I have a 2010 stock Sport S with the 17" factory alloy wheels. I found a set of 18" wheels that have the JK bolt pattern, but the tires are 35's. Does anyone here have a stock suspension that is running 35's w/o any body spacers or lifts? I know that it would be very close, but what do you think? Will it look stupid? If they will fit, I'd probably need wheel spacers for clearance behind the tire.

The stocks were the 225/75 16s. The 33s are the 33/12.50 15 Duratracs.

There's pretty much no way 35's will work without rubbing I think. You would need at least spacers, and I don't think you could flex it.. at all. Someone else can chime in and correct me though.

It would be worth your while to buy the AEV ProCal Module. You can reprogram tire size plus do a lot more. I just got one and I love it.

I've read the dealer can only do up to 32", since that's the tallest you can get from the factory.

Well started this thread and got a lot of interesting info

I think for now I'm probably going to keep an eye out for a set of rubicon tires when someone is upgrading and then eventually do a lift and goto 35's
