Quadratec free shipping FYI
Not sure if I should post this in the sponsor forum or not, but I discovered something interesting yesterday:
If you google shop for products and follow the link from google to Quadratec, you get free shipping! However, if you go to the q-tec website, then find the exact same product through their search or navigation bar, you get charged shipping. Furthermore, if you follow the link from google to one item, add it to your cart, then continue shopping, you can get free shipping on the other items even though you found them through the Q tec search.
EX: I google shopped for smittybilt 3/4" black d-rings. Added them to my cart and saw the free ground shipping. (when i went to quadratec.com then searched for them through there and added them I saw shipping was going to be ~$7 or so, don't remember exact amount, but not free) I then clicked on the lighting navi button on the left of the website and found some KC hilights, and added them to my cart and got free shipping on them as well. Then added a rotopax and got free shipping on it as well.

If you wanted you could just call the guys at Quadratec and tell them you are a member here and they will give you free shipping on anything. Great guys at Quadratec!

However, I don't always like to order over the phone since I am never fully positive that all my info is correct. Also, it is easier to order parts at work over the internet as opposed to calling them up and everyone hearing me order more Jeep parts!

Yup, ended up doing that anyways because I needed the 3 gallon rotopax extension mount, and they only carry the standard one online. They gave me free shipping over the phone.

Thanks for the info, good to know. I just picked up my JKU a few weeks ago and the only reason I've been ordering from a few other vendors is bc they have free shipping over $100. I'm going to start calling Q-tec for my future orders than and try it out

That's not true at all. Every time I've called n tried that I was told I have to go through joe on the forum. Which is fine but sometimes you need something ASAP and the process could take days to get an order in. It's not his fault but I think they lose some business that way. To me it's a pain in the ass

Shipping charges from Quadratec are the reason I've always chosen to go to another vendor... If the free shipping rumor is true, then I may pick up a few things from them pretty directly
