new tires bfg at 285/65r18
Started a new thread because this size is hard to find on the forum.
I like the 70th ann. wheels, had black steelies before but we (the wife and I) didn't like it (see my previous threads).
IMO it looks much better now, still need spacers though...
No lift and only slightly rub at full turn wich will be solved with the spacers.

Looks great! This is what I'm going for.
I think I might do the teraflex 1.5" performance leveling kit too. TBD.
Right now I'm wondering if I could do it myself without issue, I'm pretty mechanical, but still. Wouldn't want to run into any problems...

instead of spacers, have you considered trying the washer option (mentioned in the project JK write-up section) to reduce your turning radius? maybe this would prevent rubbing?

Spacers are great I feel. I have them with my stock wheels and tires. They give it a more aggressive stance and feels more stable on those tight fast turns.
Also, Leveling Kit will be a very easy install for you. If you can use a couple jack stands and a floor jack, you can put on a BB or a Leveling Kit. If you need any info or help when doing your leveling kit, just send me a PM and I can help virtually.
PS Tires look great, I'm wanting a set of BFG A/T for mine, about 33ish in size.

I agree with delux, I want them for the more agressive stance and if the drive is better than that's a nice advantage.
Just ordered them in Germany, went with the eibach spacers 1 inch not 1.5 because of the strict law about tires sticking out the fenders here in Belgium.
Leveling kit is also on my wish list maybe I will do this later when my suspension is sagging a bit more, not enough room at the garagedoor for the moment.
