Hurricane Creek is off I-40 west of Asheville in the Smokies. Nothing hardcore but a nice scenic trail with a few small hill climbs and creek crossings, etc; this is my first time there, will be riding with the AJTR's club coming up from SC and few others from here in NC.

All are welcome! I get to URE often since I'm not far here in W/S, just looking for something different. You can register free on the AJTR forums. Most everyone over there are members here in JK Forum as well. We have at least 8-10 Jeeps planning on the run so far.

Be glad to, We have a guy from Salisbury (weebus) coming, I may meet him in route on 40W. I am meeting the SC crew off exit 24 at Pilot truck stop at noon on Sat. the 3rd so we can top off fuel, not far from trail head. Some of us are planning over night stay in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and others are planning day trip, we may also hit Black Balsam Knob off the BRP on Sun, if there is enough interest but definitely doing Hurricane Creek on Sat for sure; there are also a couple local people from Asheville area familiar with the trail which is cool.
