Jeep Jaunt text

If there’s one thing that gets me a little emotional, it’s Jeepers turning out for a good cause. I think giving back really speaks to the true essence of the Jeep family, so anytime I hear of anything that keeps that spirit rolling, I do my best to make sure it gets covered here at JK Forum.

The latest included more than 500 Jeeps in Acadia, Louisiana for the ninth-annual Jeep Jaunt with this year being the biggest one yet, according to a KATC News report.

Founded by J.C. Falcon, the rally includes a 35-mile ride where Jeep owners drive with their tops off to raise awareness for the American Lung Association. Falcon was inspired to start the event after his mother died from lung disease.

“We wanted to donate the money to the American Lung Association because their mission is to eradicate lung disease. So I thought it would be a good fit,” Falcon told KATC.

I couldn’t agree more, J.C., and thanks for helping to keep the spirit of Jeep alive.
