HVAC heat cold blend operation
Hello, I have a new to me 2016 JKU. It didn't have heat. I replaced the driver's side blend actuator and now heat works great.
Weird part "to me". With the AC turned off and blowing the coldest ambient air temp. If I rotate the dial just one index to warmer, it rapidly changes to heat. Is that just how it is, or do I need to go through a calibration to get some form of blend from ambient to hot?
Thanks

An HVAC blend door system regulates cabin temperature by controlling the ratio of hot and cold air mixed together before exiting the vents. It operates by manipulating a "blend door" (or flap) located inside the dashboard HVAC housing, positioned between the heater core (hot) and the air conditioning evaporator (cold)
