Golden. Yup, I’m predicting this new Jeep accessory will really be a hit. In fact, I wish I’d come up with the idea. And I imagine anyone who owns a Wrangler will agree.

This Jeep apparatus, the brainchild of Ben and Dana Grunow, makes it easier for people to hop over the back of a topless Wrangler to get into those rear seats without hurting themselves.

The creation essentially consists of two custom-made “BedBoards” constructed with varnished wood or black king starboard, which screw into the factory holes that people typically grab onto when jumping in and out of a Wrangler.

The Grunow’s company, Hard Wood Workshop, officially started taking orders March 21. The project was inspired by the couple’s own experiences as Jeep owners with both a construction company and kids. And Dana says the response to the accessory has been great.

“We went from 150 Instagram followers to over 1,000 in just a week by connecting with industry influencers who spread the word about our product,” she told the Darien Daily Voice. “People in the Jeep world love any new gadgets and often comment that they can’t believe Jeep doesn’t make this already.”

I have to say, we’re also pretty surprised here at JK-Forum that Jeep hasn’t made something like this already. Well, as far as we know. Anyone ever seen a similar product?
