Hello all,

My Jeep doesnt see much off road use to be honest except for the occasional snow storm, construction site (I am a building contractor) and beach fishing trip so nothing hard core but I love it regardless. Lives in my garage with no top at all most of the year then gets a hard top for the winter.

Mods include wheels and tires and my BedBoards from Hard Wood Workshop- that is it so far. Anyway hope you like them- have held off posting anything on Jeep forums because I dont want to be that guy just pedaling his products but have had so many people suggest that I do that I finally thought I would give it a try. Have lurked here for a long time just been so busy running 2 businesses....

I started/own a small company in CT called Hard Wood Workshop making our BedBoards which were really born from my need to protect the edge of the body on my '07 JK (bought on eBay in '13 by the way) from my kids who cant seem to use a door.

Please take a look at our website and comment here if you like. Would love some feedback. All parts are made in the USA.

I've been looking for something like this for so long. I eventually broke down and wrapped my rails with a flat black vinyl body wrap. Probably not as durable as your wood, but it protects the paint from my kids shoes. They also don't know how to use a door!

Yes! Thank you ))))

Most people who have seen them say they can't believe Jeep doesn't offer them after they see them on the Jeep. The soft top versions can stay on under the soft top and use the factory hard top holes so installation is one time thing and no drilling. Really does protect the edge of the body too.

Thanks!!!

If you run mostly without a top on then take a look at our BedBoards for that application. Offers a wide arm rest/step and really looks finished. We offer them in a black, indestructible polyethylene sheet that is 3/4" thick. King Starboard is the name of the material if you are familiar. LIke a very heavy cutting board.

It has more uses than just protecting that edge too. Thanks for looking. Never seen that vinyl but I would think it would tear on anything sharp, no? Like the heat shrink wrap stuff they wrap whole vehicles in?

Dodge used what looks like the same color around that time and I think they called it Steel Blue. I had an Intrepid for a company vehicle that was Steel Blue. Not sure if it's the same color of you JK or not but it looks very close.

Thanks for the warm welcome .

The color is interesting because it kind looks like it has some silver flake in it and maybe turns green from different angles. Never seen another like it too which is strange.

Bought this Jeep on eBay of all places. Is there a place where I can look up the VIN and see a build sheet?
