California Man Wins 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in FCA Contest
Lucky SEMA attendant received a $45,000 voucher to put towards any FCA vehicle and wisely chose a brand new JL.
FCA US LLC just announced in a recent press statement that Christian Castro has been named the grand prize winner of the 2017 FCA National Sweepstakes. News of Castro’s name being drawn was shared with the Lynwood, California, native as he celebrated his 24th birthday. Castro was one of more than 630,000 participants in the national annual sweepstakes.
“It’s great to see that the winner, Christian, selected the legendary Jeep Wrangler. He’ll now join the countless Jeep brand enthusiasts and loyal owners who flash the ‘Jeep Wave’ for years to come,” said Jason Russ, Head of Experiential Marketing at FCA US, in a recent press statement.
Family Jeep History
As the winner, Castro received a $45,000 voucher to put toward his choice of any Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram or FIAT brand vehicle. Without hesitation, Castro selected the all-new redesigned 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Castro attributes his choice to his mother, a previous Jeep vehicle owner, and his memories of the vehicle as the family car.
Castro attended SEMA 2017 where he cast his entry at the FCA Mopar display in hopes of winning. Fortunately for him, he beat the odds and became the grand prize winner. Champion Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Downey, California, had the pleasure of delivering the vehicle to its proud new owner.
“I honestly still cannot believe that I am the winner,” said Castro. “There were tons of attendees at the SEMA show so I never considered the possibility of winning a new vehicle. I am super excited and have never won anything of this nature before.”
