Demon-powered Jeep Gladiator Ready to Possess Potential Buyers at Auction

Demon-Powered Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition Rubicon

Wicked (literally) Jeep Gladiator bypasses Hellcat-powered pickups and goes straight for the soul with Demon power.

There are plenty of V8-powered Jeep Wranglers running around these days, including one build by Jeep themselves. And for those that want ridiculous levels of power from their off-road utility, you can also buy Gladiators with Hellcats stuffed in them. But this Jeep Gladiator, which is set to cross the block at Barrett-Jackson’s upcoming fall auction, trumps them all with true Demon power.

That’s right – this 2020 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition Rubicon underwent heart surgery right after it was built. The stock 3.6-liter V6 was tossed aside in favor of a fire-breathing 6.2-liter Demon crate engine, which produces a whopping 850 horsepower thanks to a 2.7-liter supercharger. A Fore Innovations dual-fuel pump system capable of 1,000 hp and a larger heavy-duty Griffin radiator help keep the monster motor tame and well-fed.

All of that power flows through a beefed up 8HP75 eight-speed transmission that, of course, can send power to either the rear wheels or all four. And since this is a Jeep, it would have been a major oversight not to also give the suspension some major upgrades as well. So it was treated to an EVO 6.5-inch Enforcer Overland Stage 4 suspension system and EVO King shocks.

Rounding out the drivetrain is a laundry list of components including a King steering stabilizer, JKS ACOS front adjustable spacers, Adams driveshaft, custom-built 1350 front and rear drivelines, Dynatrac Pro Rock Hardcore Plus XD60 front and rear axle set, 72.5-inch wide-track Eaton E-locker 4 differentials, and steep 5.13 gears.

The evil Gladiator rolls on 20×10-inch Fuel Zephyr wheels and 40×15.50-inch Toyo MT tires, with a full-size spare mounted in the bed in case you get a little overzealous with all of that power. The body, appropriately covered in a sinister shade of black, is fitted with a WARN Zeon 10S winch, Mopar stubby steel bumper, Rockslide Engineering electric side steps, and Rockslide Engineering slider skids.

Capping off the wicked look are a series of red accents, including Demon logos embroidered in the headrests, as well as “Possessed” hood decals to let standers-by know what’s going on under the hood. In case that wasn’t immediately evident when the driver stands on the go pedal.

Add it all up, and you’ve got easily the most wicked Jeep Gladiator we’ve seen so far. And with just 10 miles on the new drivetrain, it’s about as close to a factory-built, Demon-powered pickup we’re going to get – at least for now.
