Jeep Avenger EV Did Not Skimp on Easter Eggs

The Jeep brand is known for implementing Jeep-themed Easter Eggs, and the Avenger EV is full of them.

The 2024 Jeep Avenger, despite coming from a red, white and blue background, isn’t coming to America. Though, it is carrying on a Jeep tradition of hiding Jeep-themed Easter eggs throughout the vehicle. All Jeep models have fun little images, badges or emblems hidden on the inside and outside of the vehicle — like a Willy’s Jeep crawling up the edges of the defroster lining on the rear windows of the Renegade, or the seven-slot grille hidden in the Wranglers. The Avenger is no exception, with fun images to find from the wheels to the inside of the rear window.

Arguably the most clever are the raised lady bugs along the roof rails, indicating the close relationship Jeep has with nature. Other nature-themed Easter eggs are a mountain range in the center of the rear window on the inside, a star cluster on the outside corner of the rear window, and a star gazer looking through a telescope on the opposite bottom corner.

On the outside, there’s a seven-slot grilled with two headlights on the front passenger wheel, cleverly hidden in between spokes. A seven-slot grille is hidden on each wheel but in a different place — to keep the curious occupied. And another is hiding in one of the honeycombs of the front grille near a camera. Also on the grille, one of Jeep’s older interior compasses is on a placard, raised but the same color so it’s only truly visible up close. In the center of the compass is a set of coordinates. Those coordinates lead to Italian city of Turin, where the Avenger was designed.

The nature-themed shoes definitely fit

With the Avenger being either all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive, having most of the Easter eggs be nature-themed is very fitting. After all, with no gasoline being burned to keep the car moving (except for some European countries, the Avenger only comes with an ICE), it’s the most eco-friendly Jeep out there. Until we get the Avenger, or a variant of it on American soil, we’ll have to marvel at it from afar.
