Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk

The Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk might be incredibly fast as is, but now you can make it even faster.

The fact that the Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk is fast should surprise no one. After all, this Hellcat for small families packs the very same supercharged, 6.2-liter V8 as its well-known passenger car brethren. That means a healthy 707-hp and 645 lb-ft of torque. Which is actually five lb-ft less thanks to a more restrictive exhaust, but you won’t miss ’em. Probably because this insane creation defies the laws of physics by screaming from 0-60 in a scant 3.5-seconds and completes the quarter mile in 12 flat.

Obviously, no one really needs an SUV that fast. Nor do they need it to be faster than what it already is. But this is America, right? And here, there are no limits to our insatiable appetite for power and absolute speed. Enter Livernois Motorsports. The Michigan-based tuner is now offering the world’s first tuning upgrades for the Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk. Needless to say, they’re mighty impressive.

Depending on how much power you crave, Livernois offers three different stages of upgrades. Each kit comes with PCM unlocking service, air and fuel adjustments, an EvenFlo Thermostat, Innovators West harmonic balancer upgrade with an overdrive crankshaft pulley, Innovators West crankshaft pinning system, and a new serpentine belt. The entry level S900 package adds 135 hp and 135 lb-ft of torque via those upgrades and Injector Dynamics ID1050X fuel injectors for the cost of $3,749.

Step up to the S975 package for $4,449, and you’ll add 200 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque thanks to upgraded injectors and a Livernois Powerstorm supercharger pulley. And if you want to go full bore, spring $5,649 for the S1025 kit. You’ll see a whopping 250 hp and 205 lb-ft jump with the aforementioned injectors, pulley, and a flex fuel upgrade to E85 capability.

No matter which package you choose, Livernois installs and dyno tunes your setup in house. And you even get a one-year warranty. Considering the mild upgrades and their impressive results, it seems like a no-brainer for any Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk owner.
