Jeep Fans Support 5th Annual Keystone Wounded Warriors Project

Keystone Wounded Warriors event serves as another example of Jeep’s deep connection to veterans.

If there’s one thing that we love even more than our Jeeps here at JK Forum, it’s our American veterans.

As a matter of fact, the two actually go hand-in-hand.

Why? Well, there’s the obvious fact that the Jeep nameplate actually grew out of serving as a main mode of transportation for soldiers during World War II. Then, there’s also the idea that they both represent the spirit and freedom of America like few other things do. Regardless of how you look at it, there’s just no disputing the ties, which is why we’re always moved by stories that speak to the deep connection between Jeeps and our veterans.

Take, for example, a recent off-road Jeep show held for the Keystone Wounded Warriors project in York, Pennsylvania.

The non-profit group works to help raise awareness and funds for programs that help veterans who have been wounded. This year marked the 5th year for the community event, which has become a vital tool for helping veterans with simple basic necessities, like paying an electric bill or a car payment, as detailed in a FOX 43 report.

The event included everything from games to off-road experiences, as well as a great showing of Jeeps.

Eric Walther, General Manager of Stetler Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, which helped sponsor the event, explains that it’s really about giving back to those who have put their lives on the line for our safety.

“You know our veterans are so important to us and we just never want them to be forgotten,” said Walther.

We couldn’t have said it any better, Mr. Walther. Hats off to you and your team for helping to organize the event.
