So much for that daily driving kid hauler, eh? Well, it’s not like this Wrangler won’t be able to take care of grocery and soccer practice runs. But after the Moab trip was over, the OP decided to do something about that annoying cabin noise.

“I started yesterday with covering the underside of the hood with Dynamat Xtreme and then their Hoodliner. Also removed the piece in between the hood and the windshield because it sounded like a tin can before applying the Dynamat. I plan to tear apart the doors and basically the whole interior to apply Xtreme, DynaLiner, and some DynaPad throughout the entire interior. Had already installed the hot heads headliner, which did make a good difference.”

One thing’s for sure. Even if the OP and his wife didn’t exactly adhere to their original plan, the end result is pretty awesome. You can catch up with ravencr’s adventures, as well as keep up with any future (read: inevitable) mods by heading over here!
