Jeep’s Coolest Concepts Yet Coming to SEMA 2021

Among the seven customs Stellantis is bring to SEMA 2021, four from Jeep cover everything from the old-school to the silver future.

If there’s anything Jeep is good at beyond off-roading, it’s creating cool-ass concepts to show-off for the cameras. The Moab Easter Jeep Safari alone serves as a showcase for whatever comes to mind from Toledo, Ohio. Retro-modern, futuristic, previews of what’s to come, all crawling along in the desert sun.

Speaking of the desert sun, the next best place Jeep loves to deliver their wildest ideas is, of course, SEMA. The Vegas lights, the gambles all take on their builds and products. Why not come over to wow the crowd? Stellantis intends to do just that with seven total custom rides this week. Four of them happen to belong to Jeep.

Wrangler Overlook Concept

If Jeep ever built its own old-school Land Rover Defender, it would be this: the Wrangler Overlook Concept. Built upon a stretched four-door Wrangler Sahara, the three-row off-roader rides upon a two-inch lift kit with FOX shocks. Each corner wears 20-inch Black Rhino Yorks wrapped in 37-inch BF Goodriches. Black Katzkin leather adorns the seats and dash, and the roofline is five inches higher outback for more interior space. Why not make this a new model, though? We’d certainly buy it.

Wrangler 4xe Concept

One Jeep you can buy right now, however, is the Wrangler 4xe. The Trail-Rated PHEV in Rubicon trim was made into a SEMA 2021 showcase for Jeep Performance Parts and its partners. JPP’s first-ever lift kit raises the rig two inches, which ride upon a set of JPP beadlock-ready wheels with matching beadlock rings. JPP even upgraded the windshield with Gorilla Glass, and swapped the doors for its own tube doors. It’s a JPP party up in this 4xe.

Kaiser Jeep M725 Concept

Going back to its roots, Jeep transformed a ’67 Kaiser Jeep M725 into a mascot for JPP, and a cool concept in its own regard. A custom roof panel raises 16-inch so occupants can stand while working in the rig. A fresh Mopar 392 V8 crate engine tied to a vintage 727 TorqueFlite automatic move the corners around with 485 stout workhorses and their combined 475 lb-ft of torque. Keeping to its military roots, the M725’s center console was an ammo box in a previous life.

Grand Cherokee L Breckenridge

Jeep’s most luxurious ride that’s not a Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer, the Grand Cherokee L cranks the luxury up to 11 for Vegas. Atmospheric Blue Palermo leather seating and quilted door panels, satin walnut trim, and black accents tie the interior together. Meanwhile, the exterior receives a two-tone Magnetite matte/metallic with gloss black paint scheme, plus satin bronze accents in the grille and badging.

These four concepts knock it out of the park. We can’t wait to see these Jeeps in person at SEMA 2021.
