How-To Tuesday: Differential Fluid Change
What if I were to tell you that changing the differential fluid in your Jeep is easier than changing the oil? Would you believe me? Would you question my sanity? Well, guess what? It is easier. Your next question should be, how easy is it? Thankfully this isn’t an infomercial and you don’t have to worry about fake crowds actually saying that tag line in unison.
For those of you that may have just started driving or are new to the DIY mechanic game, or you just need a refresher, differential fluid is the liquid that keeps your transmission moving. Think of it as the life blood that your transmission gears swim in.
One of the best parts of this week’s How-To Tuesday article is the confidence you’ll gain from taking on this task alone. Not to mention that large amount of money that you’ll save by avoiding the mechanic. I was surprised at the ease with which the article was able to not only describe, but illustrate how to accomplish this task.
