Is This V8-Powered 1967 Jeep M715 Worth the Asking Price?

Is this sweet-looking Jeep a future money pit or a summer must-buy?

One must be very careful when bidding on, or buying a vehicle online. This applies especially to a seller’s project vehicle, as they’ve typically been modified, chopped, and just about taken apart and put back together. Not always with the same results, of course. In other words, you could be buying someone else’s problem.

Could that be the case of this Kaiser-built 1967 Jeep M715? We recently came across this bad boy on eBay, and although the listing already ended, it’s unclear if the “buyer” actually took home the Jeep, as he only shows one purchase throughout his short eBay life. If you ask us, we wouldn’t be surprised to see this camouflaged monster pop up for sale again.

According to the listing, the Jeep sold for $25,000, and that sounds like an awful lot of money. To make matters even worse, the description lists a “body off restoration” even though we can spot considerable damage on several areas of the painted body, which has been shortened by a whole foot.

When it comes to horsepower, this American badass features a 1994 Chevy LT1 350 V8 motor, which allegedly pumps out 300 horsepower and an equal amount of torque. The owner claims this Jeep M715 works just as good on the highway as it does on tight trails, thanks to its four-wheel steering and 44 x 18.5″ boggers. Something which we’re a little skeptical about.

Should this little beast pop up for sale again, would you drop $25,000 on it?
