I'm torn on what you're asking. Quite honestly I don't understand which guns you're asking about as you listed Benelli as an option but then mentioned a Beretta later. I'm willing to help if you're able to write your question in a more understandable and structered format.

I'm not tryung to be a douche, but as they say, "help me help you."

I'm trying to decide on a new clays gun I want a semi auto as I already have a o/u gun I have narrowed it down to 3 which come in a 30in barrel and are within my price range the first the one I'm leaning torwards the most is the beretta a400 xcel which is the competion edition with the kick off recoil system, next is a benelli supersport which is inertia driven but is desinged for a lighter load, next is the beretta a400 xplor it's more of a hunting version as it comes in 3 1/2 chamber it's only listed cuz my buddy has one all the guns listed I have shot and love them all

I personally like the first beretta mentioned best. I think the will all do great with clays, but like the looks of the A400xplor

Benelli gets my vote personally. Better resale value (generally speaking) and overall quality of gun. Sadly, they're a little havy on price. Get what ya pay for though.

My buddy just bought the A400 xcel with kick off and 30in barrel. i haven't shot it yet but he decided on it when he went to the Beretta store in NYC and spoke to a couple of the guys there. (they sell Benelli as well) they both suggested the Xcel over the Super Sport.

Get a Blaser if you're using it for skeet/sporting clays.
