Default Camping and 4Wheelin

Im looking for a a place to go 4 wheelin and camp. does anyone have any ideas, and if i have to get a permit how do i go along doing so?

Peacock Flatts is where ya gotta go, your fairly close just head north up H1 till you get towards the end and it's on your right. You will need a permit, but if you google it you will find all info needed. If your still having trouble just shoot me a message, hope this helps.

Yup, the flats is a good choice. Permits are available on Punchbowl or online at DLNR.

thanks guys i appreciate it. I also have some friends that wanna role up there, what do you the level of vehicle you need to get up there?

If you're just going to the campgrounds any 4wd vehicle will do. Don't even need 4wd to get to the campsite unless it's been raining, but it is required. Trails are all different levels, hopefully someone with more knowledge of the area will chime in. I've only been up there a few times.

Gonna be wheelin peacock flats this weekend hopefully some good pics will come out of it
