JK-Forum Will Be Removing Tapatalk Access

The Forum will be removing access from the Tapatalk application in the coming week and instead focusing efforts on a new version of the mobile application platform that you can download below.

Why?
Tapatalk has made some changes to insert code into the forum page headers which causes the page to be indexed in Google as both JK-Forum content and as Tapatalk's app content. There have also been recent issues with the Tapatalk app sending emails to our members without an opt-in and we want to avoid further issues and protect our users' content and information.

When?
On November 10th the site will no longer be listed in the Tapatalk application and those users still on the platform will need to download the current supported application (listed below).

Where Do I Get the Supported App?
The supported application for JK-Forum can be found at the links below and the application will get an update to fix bugs in early 2015

Reviews on that IB application do not look promising. Bad move. At least the Freaks are still going to be here on Tapatalk to give me my fix ☺

 

That's a pity, Tapatalk works well for me. It's been convenient having all my forums on one app.

 

I understand, I believe there is a completely new mobile app by IB in the works that should address the problems of the current ones. I'm hoping we see it before the end of the year. Thanks!

Dang, I hate to hear this since I love Tapatalk. I hope this new app is better than the autoguide app.

 

Well, No more mobile access for me, oh well.

 

I just tried out the app and the app doesn't fit my phone. The buttons on the bottom are cut off.

I hate to say it but if Tapatalk is gone and this is the replacement. I'm going to have to leave the forum..

 

Yea this is a shame. I love tapatalk with this forum. But also think it's completely ridiculous that people will leave one of the best JK forums there is just because they don't like the android app that much. The android version does work and its manageable. The iphone app works perfect though.

 

I know I don't have any weight around here. I have. 1 post and no Jeep.

I have however been lurking for a few months and have learned a lot.

I only access my forums through my phone. Once Tapatalk ceases to work, I'm gone. I also think, at least for now, this move will prevent new users from joining.

Well I've attached a screen shot of what I'm seeing. I can't even use the bottom buttons. I don't use a computer for the JK forums, and not being able to navigate is ridiculous.
