The light mounting was pretty damn cheap also.....actually free. I had extra mounts for yakima stuff lying around. Just drilled out the hole to allow for the stud for the light, the cut a lil off the bottom so I could tighten them enough that they wouldn't fall down at highway speeds. Gas mileage took a sh!t, but that was also when gas was sub $2 a gallon.

That's a whole bunch of nice Cherokees. Some of them look like they could give my Rubi a run for the money. My first Jeep was a 1992 Cherokee Laredo with factory alloy 5-spoke wheels and Select-Trac transfer case. It was speeding ticket red, though I never even got pulled over. We were stationed in CT at the time while I was in the Navy. There weren't many legal places to go off-road, but I managed to find a power line trail and a couple other places. It was fun in the snow. I wish I had some pics of mine, even though it stayed stone stock. The only mod I ever did to any of my vehicles while I was married was K&N drop-ins and exhaust. BTW, here's a pic of a XJ I met at Long's Ranch the last weekend in March.

KTHRASH where did you find the fender flares for your XJ--I can't find them for the 98 that i have. Seems like the are all for 96 or older. Thanks.

Default Mine...

Here is my Jeep Cherokee. I really loved this Jeep, but I couldn't come up with a good reason to keep it since I bought the JK Rubicon. It took me six months, but I finally decided to part with it (just last week).
