Heidelberg remains open, but I knew that Wurzburg/Kitzingen were closed. I still wonder about Gieb....I had heard the AF wanted it badly.

I thought Ansbach/Illisheim was closing as well, but I see your there...

Ah, I don't know if there is a difference between 1/17 INF and 1/17 CAV....of if they just changed the type of unit it is.

I am not in the Army any more but I did serve for 5 years.
I did a tour in Afgan in '04 I got out as a buck Sgt E-5.
I would just like to say I thank all of you for your hard work.
I know what its like so again thanks, keep our Soldiers safe.
