Just wanted to let everyone know that the Jeep Jamboree is going to be on Sept 1st at Camp Casey. They are setting up the Bradley course for us to use. Meeting at the PX parking lot there at 9am for safety brief, then convoy out to site. Was told that the course might take 40-45 minutes to complete, USO will be BBQ'ing for the everyone that shows up. AAFES will be raffling off Jeep gear and other things. Koreans are welcome to show up and the Korean Jeep clubs have been invited to this event.

For people that can make the 31st, the post will be open to all and they will be having a parade that the Jeeps can ride in if wanted. they will have food and other things going on that day, starting around 10am and completing at around 5-6pm.

There is only openings for 50 Jeeps, so make sure you call the contact Sal @ 010 4696 5396 to get on the list.

 

Can't wait!!

This is awesome! Does anybody know if there'll be a Jamboree here this year?

 

They didn't do it last year and I don't think they will do it this year either. But it was fun and a lot of people/jeeps came last year. I am hoping they would do something like that again.

 

Really? That's lame. I was hoping to get to some events this year. Need some offroading experience here in the ROK...

The local jeep club goes off-roading all the time. Do a search on Facebook for Humphreys-Osan Jeepers and Yongsan Jeepers.
