okay, i have the above item... at a standstill in the water, I apply the throttle and get high rpm revs and barely move. If i can manage to get it to about 12 mph... its seems to "grab" and goes fine.

Some folks have said impeller, some driveshaft, some bearing... any suggestions??

Secondly, has anyone performed this procedure and if so is it fairly doable at home with the right tools (impeller tool and vice grip)??
