Jk's and Boats?

I know this is an old post but in the next year or so I plan on purchasing a wakeboard boat prolly a mastercraft and was wondering if your jeep had any problems towing this? Mainly stopping and keeping the boat/trailer under control is what I'm curious about lol

Just picked my first boat up last weekend. 2012 Chaparral 18' Fish/Ski. Weighs in around 2700 lbs with the Mercruiser 3.0 Liter. Seems to tow pretty well, but we'll put it to the test tomorrow heading up to Lake Jocassee in the SC mountains.

Boat and trailer is somewhere around 2000-2500 lbs. Stock 3.21 gears and 35's. No real problems whatsoever, except steep grades trying to hold 70 mph. No problems at 55-60 tho in 4th
