third battery in your run about? Solar charger?
I am looking to run a third battery in my runabout. I have a Tahoe Q4 ski and fish and thought it would be nice to have a spare while out zapping all the power with radio and trolling motor.
Anyone have any ideal where to fit a third battery? There really is not a ton of room... Anything I should look out for?
Anyone have a on board solar charger they use to trickle charge their batteries? Which one, and does it work well?

I am going to try using a solar panel this year. Check ebay. Every VW is shipped with a solar panel and you can get them for about 20 - 30 dollars on ebay. I am just try out which method I am going to use to connect it. I may splice in the connectors from an old battery tender. That's my idea
