Any wake surfers on here? If so, what are you riding on and behind?

I didn't know this existed until a couple of weeks ago! I was out on my buddy's boat and he wakesurfed for a while. It was awesome! I'll give it a try this summer. I don't know what kind of boat he's got but he got a lot of compliments on it out on the lake and he takes real good care of it.

Wake surfing is epic! I love it. I ride behind my buddies svfara. We have that thing dialed in. We have a couple fat sacks in the back left corner on the stairs and a little one up Front. I love wake surfing. That boat throws the best wake I've ever surfed. I surfed behind a mastercraft x80 and it sucked comparably. His boat throws a wake as tall as me it seems like. I've surfed behind a Malibu as well. nothing compares to his svfara.

You guys that wakesurf, do you water ski too...??? Well....I mean on a good single ski because to me that's the only way to waterski. I know a lot of guys do tricks on little double skis. Is that the main idea with wakesurfing too.....to do all the tricks?

Wake surfing is really just that. Some people throw some small spins and stuff, I just like to stand up, ride along and sip on a cold one.

I can slalom ski, wakeboard, wake skate and kneeboard, not that great at any of them, but like to do them all.

I am getting too fat for the single ski anymore, that's why I like the wakeboard and surf.

i second a lot of this. i dont do many tricks when surfing...ill cut the wake a couple times. but i like to just ride along drinking an ice cold beer. i can wakeboard and waterski. but im not all that good and i prefer surfing. i have more fun wakesurfing. could be because i used to windsurf when i lived in aruba so surfing runs in my blood eventho they are nothing alike

So nice to see we have some wake surfing Jeepers! I wakeboard and surf and my wife singles, the kids are learning to do it all.
