Campers pic
Saw it a month ago at the Sportsmen Show in Puyallup. It's a pretty neat rig, like the fact that you can pull the tent out to use it as a utility trailer if need be. The tent went up in no time, and it pretty large in side. What I didn't like is that its a little wider than the JK & the standard beds are only twins (though you can get extensions for making it a double. Even with that it's still on my list of possible campers to get (once I get the motorhome sold.)
I saw it at the Sportsman show in Puyallup about a month ago. It's a pretty slick unit, the tent goes up (and down) fast and the tent has plenty of room inside. I could stand with out a problem (I'm 6'4"). The quality seemed pretty good but a few things I didn't like was that the width is 20" wider than the JK (could be a problem where I like to go.) and that the main beds are only twins (though you can get an extension to make one a double). But even so it's on my list of possible trailers to get once I sell my motorhome.
It pulls fine, I've got an automatic and I am running a stock hitch with the addition of a sway controller and an electric brake controller. Plus I'm running 33's with a 2" lift, neither of which help the mpgs.
I've gone from Fort Worth to Chicago, Galveston, Silverton and Moab with it. Only thing that sucks is the fuel mileage which gets down to 10mpg if you're going 75mph. No strain at all even going up the mountains. Driving hwy 550 near Silverton wasn't a problem and I could maintain whatever speed I wanted without problems while towing the trailer. Whereas the year before on hwy 550 the only way to maintain speed in my wife's 2007 2 dr Wrangler Sahara with auto was to put the pedal to the firewall and this was without the trailer.
