i prob wouldnt do larger than 31's since i own them from my stock sahara. too cheap to buy more rims and tires... good point about the fold out with larger tires though. so, i guess i would be investing in spacers, adapters for lug pattern, and after market fenders. i guess thats not bad...

i keep debating roof rack or trailer..., so many pros and cons with both.

lunneborgc,

First, thanks for posting all the pictures and your experience!!!

Three questions if you have the time to answer about your awesome trailer!!!

1. I imagine setup isn't too difficult, but what about stowing the tent for travel again? Is it a pain? Is it like most tents where "once you take it out, it never seems to go back in right?" How long does it take to re-stow?

2. Can you leave one of the wings folded in and use the out-cropped trailer ledge as a food prep/cooking area? Or does the tent have to be 100% fully deployed?

3. Final question....would the trailer with tent on it survive a water crossing? Since it's not a sealed trailer, would crossing deep water with this flood the tent or is it in a water-resistant bag?

Again, I love your trailer and all the pics you posted!

Yes, thank you for the pictures... Lot bigger lookig once you have it on the street hooked up to your jeep.

Those are some good questions. I too would also like to know. And how heavy is the tent? Can one person move it, looks bulky.

I bought one of these in October of last year. Great product. I too missed the truckbed and needed something and this trailer fit the bill.. Since I live in OK, a state without a Costco, I didn't have to pay taxes. Lifetime also made me a cover for it even though they don't manufacture the covers anymore. I got to go camping in it a couple of times before the weather became limiting. Really like it, easy setup and breakdown. The trailer is extremely versatile . I'm building a shelf above my garage door that I can through the tent in when I'm not using it. It'll hinge down for easy placement and then I'll crank it up against the ceiling with a hand crank.

Thank you for all the info, I think you are officially the Lifetime Trailer guru for all of us considering.

What are the dimensions for driving an ATV on? Would the Polaris Ranger Rzr fit? The 4 seater?

Wheelbase 103.0" (261.6 cm)
Dry Weight 1,255 lbs. (569.3 kg)
Overall Vehicle Size (LxWxH) 130 x 60.5 x 75" (330.2 x 153.7 x 190.5 cm)

I guess I'm up against top deck capacity of 950. Actually, I would be way over. There goes that idea.

Still curious as to fitment.
