+1. Teraflex leveling kit (spacers), E rated 35s, Bilstein 5100s up front, Rubicon shocks out back rides like crap.

^I agree 100%!

My little 2" lift performed great on my 2-day trip up in the Big Bear area earlier this year. Was the first real wheeling I've done since the install. My mistake though was using the shock extensions. The amount of travel is quite a bit less than an appropriately fitted shock. I just put on my Bilstein 5100s this weekend and can't wait to try 'em out. Ride even feels a little better on the road already.

My advice, for what it's worth, is to don't just get the springs and call it good. You will want the track bar and lower control arms too, at least. These will give you a ride very close to stock again. And go ahead and replace all those bolts with 9/16 versions while you are under there.

After all this is done, just be prepared to want more. I'm already dreaming of the day I can put on 35's, flat fenders, bumpers, winch, trek top, body armor...

I asked Mrs. Claus for a winch and a light bar. "Wench, bring me a winch!" I said.

^This.
Four Wheel Drive Club of Fresno built and maintains the trails,Info here and in their forum. People come from a lot further off than Chowchilla to run the trails.
