Nope I lost about 6 inches of clearance and the more I looked at them the more I hate them.

Cara, zero ground clearance lost with the PURE JEEP rocker guards. I absolutely love these. I've had the Jeep resting on them. Yes they are more expensive than smity built but you get what you pay for. Mike liked them so much he put them on his 4 dr after having them on his 2 dr.

Default Question...

I'm thinking about asking for a floor jack for Father's Day (so I can install my own lift eventually). What do you all recommend? There's a pretty inexpensive 5-piece "kit" at AutoZone that is only about $70.

It's a 2 ton jack and the lifting range is only 5.12" to 13.56". Is that enough?

You'll need taller stands and a jack with a greater travel. You'll need to jack and support off from the frame

Buy good tools your life depends on it I use a 3 1/2 ton jack from napa it's been great , your better off over sizing tools when it comes to weight capacity

My 4 ton jack goes from 5-3/4" to 19-13/16" and my 6 ton stands go to 23" hope this helps
