Have any of you had any problems with having your top off all the time, as in vandalism or theft?
This is going to be my first spring/summer with the new 2011 JKU and I want to take it off, but I'm a little apprehensive of leaving it off in the lot at work and around town....
Have any of you had issues from dumb kids vandalizing or stealing random things from your jeep in the Fresno area????

 

I leave mine off without any problems yet. I am careful about where I park and don't leave anything floating around. Your new to the forum? Welcome, there is a great group of people here! Signing up for the suds and grub?

 

By the way (from your other post) we can make decals right here in Fresno. 1 or 10,000 let me know. If you have not found them yet.

 

Its always a gamble here in town. I park at Fashion Fair everyday for work and luckily have not had any issues with the top off. Knock on wood.

 

I might be up to driving to Fresno again if I can get this death wobble figured out first. I'm kind of babying it right now. It's got me spooked. I'm pulling the track bar off tonight and replacing the bolts with new Grade 8, 9/16 ones. Hopefully I'll have a new adjustable one ready to mount soon.

 

Thanks for the reply. Is there a date for the suds and grub meet? It would be cool to meet some other jeep owners, Ive only had mine since November and have a lot to learn.
Do you guys get together for trails often?

Also for that decal, what would you need to make it, just an original pic?

 

As much as we can, the suds and grub is set for Saturday march 24th if you can come post in the thread in this staging area.

For decals do you have a subdued version maybe that can be cut out of black vinyl?

No, I didn't have time last night after all. Hopefully I'll get a chance to check them today after work. Luckily I haven't had any more episodes but I know it's just a matter of time.

 

I know what that feels like. Every single bump made me flinch. Haven't had any more DW episodes after retorquing the trackbars and replacing my steering stabilizer. Did you check your shocks during the lift install?
