The Tamarack Snow Park is being converted to a Fire Camp so access to 168/Bald is closed there. You must use the detour at the junction of 9S09 and 9S69 (takes you to the South Fork of Tamarack) to access 168/Bald from the North side. Use of Bald mountain and camping in the area is open. Just access through the Tamarack Snow Park is closed for the time being. With over 1,000 fire fighters on the fire we need space for camping.
