Exclamation Half Moon Bay New Guy, HELLLLOOO out there!!!

Im in the coast guard and just recently moved to this area from RI. The first thing I did was buy my jeep. A 2007 Rubicon, ive got the 9500 winch, front and rear bumpers, heavy duty tire carrier and sliders accomplished in a few weeks, as well as my windshield mount spotlights. Time to move on to the big projects. I want my 4.5 lift bad and im in desperate need of advice, tips, insight anything you got...... ive always been an xj guy so this is a new beast and shes awfully pretty so i dont wanna mess her up. And if any one is near me that knows some trails a stock jk would like im around quite a bit!

Welcome to the Bay Area! Be sure to check out the pumpkin patch! Also keep ur rig in the garage to prevent premature rust from that coastal town moisture!

There are trails and rocks in Livermore... Not too far bout an hr east from you. Hollister has trails bout 2 hrs south...

Im in Milpitas and my jeep is stock too... My first 4 wheeler... Im afraid i may break her... Pm me for a meet up!

Welcome! I'm in Santa Cruz area. I just found out about a tril off hy 1. I have not ran it yet, because I am looking for someone to run it with. The person that told me about it just ran it in aug. I have not put any info about the trail on the forum, because I don't know where its at exactly.

welcome to the forum. your more in Nor-cal than cencal. You will find the trail runs closest to you posted there. Hollister hills is a great place to play with the jeeps, even when they are stock. Check the no-cal section there are some meet ups and trail runs being planned currently.

Hey guys, thanks for all the great replies. I'm sorry I am a little dated with this 1. But I had a little problem with it accessing the site and am just getting back in gear now. Sounds like there are some great people around that hopefully I will meet up with you at some point to go wheeling with. I have been loving the area since I have been here and have found a few small little places to go but nothing too serious, partially because I have been very busy and have not had a lot of time to dedicate to looking. But now that I am settled I am happy I should have a lot more time to go! Please feel free to send me a message if any of you guys are around sometime and want to explore!
