Thank you everyone for all the input!
Since it seems like it'll be so busy, we have postponed our trip. However, we are taking note of all the advice and recommendations and will be using it for planning when we do go in the near future.

If you don't like the crowds of the national parks ( I got stuck in a 2 hour traffic jam my last time at Yosemite). Look into Shaver/Huntington Lake area. Its situated right in the middle of the 3 Nat parks in the Sierra Nat. Forest. Lots of trails resivoirs, there is a small sequoia grove.....a not many people. On July 6th you can take the bald mtn. Trail to about 8000' and watch the shaver lake fireworks
