Yeah I saw the posting.

Do you have a trans cooler? Thinking of going with the PSC steering/ trans cooler setup.

How high is Swamp Lake? I was at VVR/Lake Edison last year which is around 7k, and got altitude sickness. I use to be fine to around 10k when I was backpacking, but less and less trips over the years has been bringing it down.

Its been a couple years since I ran it but I think its between 9 and 10k. Helps if you can get up there the night before and spend the night at elevation. I think Dinky Creek and the trail head are around 7 to 8k and are good places to camp.

Yea Ive got the BnM 70264(?) for the tranny and a Derale dual pass 12" heat sink type for the steering. Was a tight fit but I wedged it all into the grill. If I didnt already have the BnM I probably would have gone with the PSC dual. I think it would be the cleanest install.

I'd have to say around 7-8k for sure. Shaver Lake is around 5k.

I think I'm going to buy the PSC setup. Can't beat the price.

Do you know what time you expect to be at the trail head on Saturday? I will probably go up Friday night and sack out at the trail head.

What I was thinking was meeting up at Prather around 9am or so. I think the trail runs around 4-7 hours depending on people on the trail, breaks or sight seeing. And if we're still wanting to run more we can see about another short trail or easier one like Bald or Mirror Lake Trail.
