I spent my vacation in the sierra national park last year. looking to go further north. I don't think i am ready for Rubicon, but would actually like to go see it and hit some moderate trails in the area. I'll be tent camping with my wife. some easy scenic trails, fishing and site seeing is also expected.

Any recommendations for trails?
How about camping areas that are quiet, but close to showers?

Also,Tahoe is in Norcal. Might get better feedback there.

 

My wife and I just returned from Lake Tahoe and found a number of great trails that we truly loved. I'll get my pictures up and share the story soon.
