Anyone itchin' for a run...
*** March 9th - Confirmed ***
We'll meet up at the Howard Johnson "HoJo's" hotel at Liberty and 401 for 8am. That will put us up at the Timmies on highway 7 in Madoc about 9:30. Trail for 10am MAX.
Up at Lingham Lake, north of Belleville for a winter run.
If anyone is interested post a Saturday when you're available and the day with the most hits well, will go then!
The trail should be more interesting with the snow as seen in previous years. 12 kms to hunting cabin and about 2-3 hours give or take an hour lol.
Trail is easily done with stock in the summer, and more challenging in the winter. Everyone will be fine

We got the 9th, 16th or 23rd for "mid-March"
The 9th looks like somewhere around 0 degree weather so I'd be afraid a week later it would be on the warming side of things. Looking at the 14 day trend.
What if we made it the 9th and people can start planning for that day? Up to you.

Not 100% sure but google maps says Lingham Lake is about 275km and 4h40mins away, i'm sure it isn't that bad (Minden was about 3 and a half)... I don't mind the drive at all I pretty much live in my Jeep... And I would definitely try lol I have recovery gear now and everything, i've even pulled people out during a couple snow storms...

I'm from Guelph, It shouldnt be 5 hours depending on which way you come across.
We will meetup in Madoc which should be about 3 hours from Guelph.
I'm sure you can convoy over with Tim from Bowmanville and I'll see ya at the Timmies on the north side of Madoc at hwy 7
