Default Bad universal joints Replaced both

I had to replace both Front Universal joints Passangers side was stiff and drivers side was so siezed that I hade to sand blast the corossion and hammer it off ... 118000km , I cant believe that these things were that bad. began to notice that the steering was jumpy when turning , felt like it was in 4 wheel. drives like new, but disapointed with the product and the life expectancy of these sealed units...

Anyone else experience this yet?

I felt it in the steering at first then my ESP kept going on and i had no power ... Passenger side was tight , but driver side was siezed solid and needed to be heated off and then sandblasted ...
Wondering out load... if Toyota, Hummer have the same problem with UV joints ...LOL
