Canadians where do you get your parts?
Here's a few shops in Edmonton, I don't personally buy from any except Interior Offroad, Gemini-sales has very good prices as well (from other replay). As well Ebay has very good prices, getting my 4" RC lift from an ebay store (direct from the company) for 150$ cheaper than any shop I've found so far.

If you want to order from the states the best thing to do is get a address near the border on the US side and have it shipped there and drive down. UPS is fast but very expensive , USPS is Slow and not cheap but not expensive. The problem with USPS is they only take small packages that are not very heavy.
We ship huge shipments to sweet grass montana every month and a guy from alberta drives down and then takes it all home and distributes the parts from there . That is the cheapest method.

Thanks
If I'm already in Van, sometimes I'll go over the border, maybe as far as Seattle. $30-40 in gas saved me approx. $950.00-$1000.00 on a new bumper and winch. Guys in Canada wanted $700.00 for the bumper and $1500.00 for the winch, plus taxes and shipping on the bumper.
My way: no duty, just GST/PST on the way back. And a whole lot cheaper.

I had some problems getting suppliers to ship to USPS/UPS depots at Bellingham, WA. To be fair to the above post, it wasn't through Northridge
I think I'm pretty much done ordering direct until the dollar finds a place to settle or I'm really unhappy with the markup by shops on this side of the line.
And, rant warning, I'm apologize in advance to anyone who is a diehard 'buy Canadian' that may be offended by this:
I work hard for my money. I don't have a preference whether the vendor is Canadian, American or Pakistani (not talking about the manufacturer here, guys!!!). I WILL go to the vendor who has the most reasonable price and provides satisfactory service. Poor service WILL result in no return AND I will go out of my way to let anyone relevant know my experience. I will NEVER shop in Canada when there are cheaper alternatives with satisfactory service across the line. Alternatively, if I find exceptional service I may go out of my way to utilize a vendor a second and subsequent time, despite a premium, which I determine is a service-value factor.
Also importantly, I pay PST/GST coming back in as a general rule (my job is based on integrity and I can't lose that on a tax/duties evasion charge), and if you can't pay it at the border you should not go down there to buy. If a Canadian vendor wants my business bad enough, provide quality service at a competitive price. My bank account doesn't recognize the country in which I buy my Jeep parts. Period.
So endeth the rant. One man's opinion.
Have a nice day!
