Default Cell phone bill

My cell phone bill from Rausch Creek was a whopping $117. $72 in roaming charges. Can anybody beat that?

Holy crap, why so much? Can't you get some sort of different plan?

Yeah, you defintely need a plan, i pay 60.00 a month for mine, includes unlimited data (no tethering however). Admittedly mine has coporate discounts, but you should be able to manage something better somewhere.

Cheers

Yeah wow. Thats pretty high. I run three businesses plus my day job through my Blackberry World Edition and I pay around $100/mnth. Emails, Voice, Text, Data Plan with Telus....and I use all the features all the time.

i was tethering my lap top for a bit and that cost me big time
all good now
got everything that i need for 85
fav 5 plan that should save me lots work home and friends and that's basically all my calls
i'm on my phone 5 to 6 hrs a day with about 20 texts a day so it isn't costing me an arm and a leg now

so now that fido (rogers) has no system access fee how long before bell (telus) has no fees??????

I'm with Koodo. They have no system access fee or 911 fee. Had telus for years. Those fees are not mandatory. The one guy that works in the office at my work has Rogers and pays no sys access fee and niether does his wife. It's just a matter of how much time you have to fight with them about it. He's the manager, so he has lots of time on his hands. Those fees always say in brackets "non government fee". Just another way for them to pick your pocket if you let them.
