I was under the impression we couldn't wheel in Provincial Parks. I have never heard of anyone doing it. Don't know for sure though.

Foret Ouareau in Chertsey is a provincial park. In Quebec City area, there is also a few trails inside the provincial parks.

It realy comes down to whether or not the area is designated as a protected area.. If it's protected then no motorized vehicles

Can you give a bit more detail? I'm planning a trip to the Lac. St. Jean area, probably also stop in Quebec city at some point. Would love to maybe explore a few easy trails at the same time.

I wheeled a few times at the Réserve Faunique de Portneuf. You enter the park by the small town called Rivière-à-Pierre.
Nice trails, many hunters go there with their 4X4 pick-up or Jeep.
I used to go fishing at the ZEC Blanche inside the Park. You need a permit to come in (hunting or fishing) depending of the time in the year.

Don't go there before the end of April, because there is a lot of snow in this Forest

The trail is a bit like the Ch. des Castors in Chertsey. (Rocks, mud, etc) Category 1 to 5 It's a provincial Park, therefore you have to respect the rules
