Dealer wants to do a throttle body and fuel injection cleaning.
Should have titled "dealer wants to take my money"
In a previous life i was an ase master tech and we did these all the time but i am not convinced it makes a lot of difference. However, you can get carbon build up in throttle body at the throttle plate and it can stick closed. You can open TB and spray carb cleaner in and use a small brush and clean yourself.
as far as injectors, if it is missing real bad at idle or failing emissions test (if you have) then might help.
Best thing you can do for carbon build up on valves is to run engine to redline every so often. This keeps the build up off by shaking loose. I have seen the same car with extreme build up which looked like a cone from base to top and the other car had zero build up. The difference - one was a little old lady car and the other was a pizza delivery dude.

My dealer just tried to rape me over $2300 for new ball joints, ujoints and pads and rotors. They denied the ball joints and u-joint under warranty because i have mods.
I spoke with another dealer that I have dealt with and they are doing it under warranty for me on Monday. Brakes of course are coming out of my pocket.
Gotta love it when you find a "mod friendly dealer"

Sea foam is some good shit, it burns everything off the inside of the engine. Hell, first time I put it in the mpg counter told me I was getting 28mpg, that made me chuckle.
