Actually, those will be available for 2010-2011. It will pretty much coincide with the launch of the Chevy Volt.

I'm 44 y.o. and It's not the first time that I hear this kind of B.S. about electric cars coming in a few years...

Why not? Every manufacturer makes a hybrid something or other now except Chrysler.....it'll be here, and it will be soon.
