exploration an hour east of Mtl 15 August
Me and a friend are going to explore a trail I found that doesn't seem to be used often, about 1 hr east of Montreal. I know the trail is a few kilometers long, and I have been in it for some distance. The highway was oK for stock with water at places, but we did not stay on the highway much... and there are challenges available on byways.....
I would like 2-3 additional Jeeps if interested on the 15 August (Saturday), leaving Terrebonne at 9am.
I will not have access to the forum until Thursday evening, so don't worry if I don't answer you before if you reply.

I will not be available this weekend but keep me updated about this trail! Also, becareful about private terrain and places where you don't hare the right to go. Some trail are used by ATV clubs and trucks are not welcome there. I would suggest to talk about this trail in few other places (like a 4x4 club in quebec we both know...) before to see if other people know it.
Anyway, if you try it, take pictures!

I know its a winter trail for VTT, but the grass tells its not in use in the summer. Been there twice and never met anybody. There are no road signs either, and its under the electrical lines.
Don't know who to ask....

When you go off-roading you should always have a 120 bucks on you
If you do get caught by private land owners a sincere apology and cash can make it easier to get out with out involving cops and other legal matters

Land owners... this is remote lands, no housing nearby, no nothing around. I have no worries about that, and as for the passing rights, well, I have seen no signs saying private nor keep of, nor any signs at all in fact, and the grass shows no vehicules passed for a long long time.... I'll keep you posted when I come back, cause I am going tomorrow with another TJ, just the 2 of us...
We had a nice day ! Too bad it did't pass in the middle of the trail... literally a swamp. See the picts:

Had trouble finding how to do this... The four lines are 4 path I explored. The blue and red lines that come close to each other are separated by a pound that we did not pass. it is not long, but you just spin in there... notice the lake near by...
