Fellow Jeeper KIA March 08 in Afghanistan
I'm getting too used to putting our flag down here at home.
I will be there.
I guess I will leave Trenton around 13:45 - 14:00 to meet in Oshawa for 15:00
Anyone going down from here or passing along the way, let me know and we can convoy.
use my gmail or hotmail account so it gets forwarded to me at work or home

Was a fantastic turn out....really great to see. The family knew about the event, and were honking and waving to us all as they went past. It was a sad moment, but made me feel proud at the same time.
Yeah, Im glad I drove down from Trenton/Belleville.
I counted 34 jeeps, but I know that I couldnt see them all from where I was standing, Im not sure how many more there were, maybe a total of around 40.
I wish I could have gone to the restaurant to meet and talk with everyone out of the wind, but I had to get going.
Nice turn out.
I was a bit surprised that the traffic around the procession. It looked like people were passing them since there was no space in front of it.
Im glad that there was still a lot of people setting up at each bridge even an hour early when I drove down ahead of the procession.

it was an honour to be part of something like this...
Marc's girlfriend Mary called one of the organizers of the run and thanked us personally! some of the Family had kept the Jeep thing a surprise and Marc's mother was floored by the support our community showed.
the final count was just over 40 trucks and over 60 people
thanks to all that came out, people form all over Ontario! some from past London, Trenton/Belleville and from everywhere in between.
Truly an Honour!
RIP Trooper Diab
