Transfer case shifter is cable operated, shouldn't change the length of the lever on the JK. Congrats Steve, can't wait to see it!

From what I understand, 1" is fine with little or no modifications. With 2" you have to start changing a lot of stuff.

That's awesome Steve, I've been looking at the Zone lifts also, now you can be my guinea pig!! Can't wait to here what it's like. Are you replacing the driveshaft too? I heard Jim at Rockspyder carries these lifts, so if you have any problems with the self install at least you have a resource close by.

are you sure you even need to go with a body lift? with 3" of lift you should be able to fit 35's no problem right? I'm gonna do a body lift cause i only have 2.5" so I want to make sure I dont rub, but I dont think you'd need one.

Depends on your offset really.....

I have the OME HD lift which gave me just slightly over 3" of lift, plus a 1" BL and I have some rubbing at full flx. Although if I had a different offset I may be okay.

Steve, I'd stick to 1". The guys are right, if you go 2" theres more to it. My 1" went in with no additional mods.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Come on we know that Wayne likes some rubbing every once in awhile... What scares/concerns me is that he's normally talking with Steve aka "Lance Romance" about it.

Well there is that, but I was actually talking about JK JAM where I watched AND heard him rubbing those fenders. The sound it made was quit distinctive.

LMAO.....well saying "some rubbing" is easier than saying......my 35's sound like they are about to rip off my fenders at full flex, even when I'm aired down to 12psi....infact they actually damaged my front fenders

better?
