Default Got Snorked

Went down to the US yesterday with Zebco to pick up all our new parts we ordered from northridge....as soon as we got back we set to work cutting my jeep apart and installing my snorkel, after this weekend I know its a necessity!! Install was easy, besides the stomach pains that come with cutting into your jeep.
Removing the air box and sealing it with goop.

Taped off and traced the template

slicing time!

Uh O theres a hole now

Finished Product

Lights should be wired up on my lightbar tonight, more pics of that coming soon!

Looks very sweet.

Where did you move / put your antenna. Couldn't see from those pictures.

Cheers

Thanks, I have a 8" shorty antenna, but there is a slot in the snorkel for it to fit through, but its too short to stick out the top.

Hey the small hose that goes to engine needs to be clamps onto air box. One of the guys from our snorkel test run in Pine Barrons had his come off. He had an inch of water and mud in the air box

Outstanding! Couldn't imagine what it feels like cutting into the hood. How many times did you re-check the measurements?!

I just ordered the shorty end of last week.
have you noticed any reduction in reception?
I hardly listen to FM anyway with the Sat radio, and the disks, just wandering.
