Did he really get stick in 6 inches of water

Just the 3 of us.

I was majorly outgunned.

Yes, I got stuck, but there's a story there... So after running Concession Lake, we decided to take the easy Old Logging Road Trail back instead of just the fire roads. That turned out to be a bit of a mistake. Old Logging Road is getting hogged out majorly. Well, and a beaver has been busy.

So I decided to lead, and came across that innocent looking puddle. I head through, no problem until <bump bang> I stopped. Reverse. Nothing. WTF? So I get out, and what you see there is not the full story. The puddle has big ruts in the bottom. In some places it's 6" deep, in others it's knee deep. I just happened to drive through 2 ruts, and there were two giant rocks in the bottom. Steve yanked me off and it sounded nasty. We didn't see the rocks until Steve drove through, and the wake revealed the rocks sitting just under the surface of the puddle. I just picked absolutely the wrong line by bad luck.

Then I got stuck again in the quagmire.

Just a soupy mess, and people have been throwing logs in, I guess to put a bottom in it. But now it's a log-jam under the mud. I tried to go around the side, but to no avail. I ended up with wood wedged in my rim.

yeah I know Rob

I could tell by the mud around the hole that the ruts would be deep. Just had to comment though anyway.

Well, here's the vid. I'm not happy with it yet. Windows Moviemaker forced me to downscale it to 480, and then it compressed it from widescreen to 4:3, so Steve looks like a supermodel.

I'll see if I can fix it another way.

Love the vid... That little hill doesn't look like much... But it sure has the "PUCKER" factor Thanks Steve, great spotting job.
