Default Holy Freakin Brake Pads ? !!!

I just priced out new pads for the JK 180.00 for the rears and 250 for the fronts
Are they flippin nuts??? I have to do the back ones cause they are completely shot the fronts still have 1/4 inch left.. I will replace them myself at the cottage this week...

Sorry for my Rant...but shnykees...

front ceramics are like $75. look 'em up on Quadratec or the like?

who wants that kind of money for brakes? tell them to go pound salt! you get pads all around for less than the $180 they quoted you for the rears! ridiculous!

I picked up my front and rear pads from ebc for 140

a long time ago

I JUST got rears for $77 from PartSource here in town Rod. Take your lips off of the parts guys at the dealership and drive up the road a bit It was the same price for the fronts too

i'm guessing you guys installed them yourselves. I've never done break pads. how hard is it?

if u have a socket set / jack / jack stands you can do it in your driveway in less than an hour per end. not hard at all. pads are easier to change than shoes, but we have disc brakes all the way around so we're safe. just make sure you have all you need before you start, or a spare vehicle if u need to run out to get something.

tools needed:

socket set
pry bar or c clamp
jack
jack stands
brake pads
rotors if req'd

that's it dude...
